The Wild Black Cherry is not just a visual delight. Its small, white, 5-petalled flowers bloom in racemes, creating a delicate and fragrant display. The reddish-black berries, known as drupes, are not only edible but also versatile—perfect for making jellies or even as a drink mixer, earning it the nickname ‘rum cherry’.
